Introductory Talk

First stop is a quick history talk about the extraordinary way in which the horse named Norseman first discovered Gold in Norseman.

The Nyikinya Rockhole

First, we hesd to Dundas Rock to visit Nyikinya Rockhole and hear the story about Purni Rock.

Morning Tea at the Bromus Dam

Then onto Bromus Dam for a talk about the Aboriginal use of flora and for a damper and billy tea morning tea.

Next is Moir’s Rock

Peak Charles

We then travel to Peak Charles 110km south of Norseman to see the magnificent granite outcrop, we’ll spent about 2 hours there.

Lunch at Peak Charles

A BBQ lunch is at Peak Charles leaving around 3pm, arriving back in Norseman at 5pm

The trip is around 150km each way with some unsealed roads. 4×4 preferred but not essential. People without vehicles can travel with James.
